Join students, faculty, community leaders, academics and activists from the Boston-area and beyond to discuss why and how engaging in inter-religious dialogue and cooperation can effectively address intolerance and extremism.  Come learn and share best practices, strategies, and ideas to grow this movement on your campus. Themes include faith and social action, engaging students in difficult dialogues, conflict resolution, use of the arts to promote dialogue, and more.

Conference participants will come from a wide range of institutions, such as universities, high schools, community-based organizations, and more.  The conference will feature scholars and activists who work to create greater understanding among people of different religious backgrounds.

This event will mark a culmination of two years of collaboration among five campuses—Brandeis University, MIT, Tufts University, University of Maryland and Wellesley College to develop and implement programs that promote dialogue and cooperation among students from different religious backgrounds on campus.   The ultimate mission of this initiative is to better prepare tomorrow's leaders to promote tolerance and understanding in their local communities and the global community.

All are welcome!
